This bulletin contains the Registration Forms A, A', B, C, D.
Please careffully fill them in using capital letters.
A
separate
Form B will have to be submitted for each event in you wish to compete.
Form A & A' summarizes the events you wish to enter and the total amount to
be paid by you.
All
documents
should be received by the Organising Commitee together with full
payment of fees prior to the deadine, is : 19 August 2010, 24 : 00 hours
Only official Registration Forms A, A', B, C and D
will be accepted. The
Organising Committee will not accept incomplete entries, or entries
arriving after the deadine. All entries will be confirmed by post, fax
or e-mail within 21 days of receipt by the Organising Committee.
Participants should make sure t o check the confirmed information, as
no changes will be made after publishing of the draw for the racing
programme. Entries should be submitted to the Organising Committee at
the following adress :
BOAT
RENTAL (mainly for overseas crew).
Rental boats will be organized for all overseas crew who send an
application with payment before the 19th of August 2012. We recommend the
other crews to bring theirown boats and oars. Il you wish to rent a
boat, please fill in form C. We guarantee only high quality boats. Only
high adjustments will be possible and should not last longer than 10
minutes.
COST
Entry
fee, for each event €15 per seat (coxes do not pay) -
Boat rental : €18 per seat/per hour -
Masters Party : €25 per person, excluding drinks.
PAYMENT
Payment
of entry fees, boats rental and admission tickets to the
Masters Party, together with the relevant Forms, prior to August 15th, 2012 in
either of the following manners :
- transferring money by international transfer to the bank accoount of
the Organising Committee
- charging your visa, Mastercard, the entry
forms“D” .
All bank charges on any bank transfers must be paid by the
participants. No payment will be refunded in case of withdrawaks or
cancellations.
PROOF
OF AGE
The
FISA rules make it clear that every competitor must be able to
prove his/her age by production of an official document (passport or
other identity card with photograph). Checks will be made during the
regatta.
UNIFORM
CLOTHING
Il
is a FISA rule that members of the same crew must compete wearing
uniform clothing (vest, shorts and any additional garments). This
applies to composite crews as well as to single club crews. This rule
will not apply to mixed crews.
ANTI-DOPING
CONTROL
Competiors
are reminded that this regatta is run using the
International Rowing federation (FISA) Statutes, Rules and Bye-Laws,
and is supported by govemment agencies. One consequence of all this is
that all participants in this regatta may be subject to anti-doping
control. You must be aware that this possibility exists and if you are
any doubt should contact your national rowing federation for advice. It
is recognised that some substances which are classified as performance
enhancing by the International Olympic Committee may be used if
medically prescribed and tha the use of these drugs may be permitted on
the provision of suitable medical evidence. FISA has very strict
penalties for doping offences, which include a life ban, even for a
first offence. If appriate, be sure to provide a list of applicable
substances at the Regatta Office before the regatta starts.
F.I.S.A RULES
Races will be held under the FISA Rules of racing as amended from time
to time. A rower may compete as a Master from the begining of the year
during which he attains the age of 27. A competitor or crew shall be
placed in the age category corresponding to the age attained during the
current year. Age categories :
B minimum average 36 years
C minimum average 43 years
D minimum average 50 years
E minimum average 55 years
F minimum average 60 years
G minimum average 65 years
H minimum average 70 years
The average and minimum ages exclude the coxswain. Female coxwains will
be permitted in mens crex and vice versa. In mixed crew events half the
crexw, excluding the coxswain, shall be women and half men. The
coxswain may be of either gender. The minimum weight of coxswain in
mixed crews is 50 kg. Each competitor shall be responsible for his own
health and fitness.
SPECIAL
NOTES
Where the number of entries exceeds the number of racing lanes, the
entry will be divided into two or more finals. Prizes will be awarded
to the winners of each final. A separate classification will take place
and prizes will be awarded for each category, even when the race is
held together with other age groups. This applies to both mens and
womens events. Entries must be made in the name of a bona fide club
registered with its national federation.
